Our
flushing machines are built to flush covered drainage networks. They
were solely designed by DMMAS
engineers. We partnered with TERSANA
to manufacture a system that satisfies the requirements of The
Egyptian Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation.
Twenty flushing machines were supplied in the year 2005. Another batch
of fifty machines is in current production in partnership with Sakr
Factory for Developed Industries; a subsidiary of The
Arab Organization for Industrialization.
COMPONENTS
& WORK MECHANISM:
A
self-priming piston pump is driven by an agricultural tractor via
a cardan shaft. The pump delivers water at a discharge of 135 liters
per minute and a pressure of 80 bars. A self-propelled nozzle is attached
to the end of a 0.75-inch diameter 250-meter long hose. The forward
water jet affects the required flushing action while backward water
jets secure nozzle advancement. Controls include a pressure regulator
and a hose meter counter.
FLUSHING
MACHINE WITH WATER TANK:
In
this version, a 0.5-cubic meter water tank is provided to secure water
availability. With same other components, the same work mechanism
applies. The hose is withdrawn by a hydraulic motor driven by the
agricultural tractor. Ten machines of this type were manufactured
in the year 2005.
