SINTER VIBRATING SCREEN:

A heavy-duty vibrating screen was designed and manufactured in 1998 by DMMAS to satisfy the requirements of The Egyptian Iron and Steel Company. Made of high wear-resistant steel, it is used to screen sinter prior to charging to blast furnaces. It is operated around the clock at a rate of 250 Ton/Hr. Two unilateral vibrators are provided with weight-controllable flywheels to exert a vibration force amounting to 30 tons at 16.6 Hz. The amplitude of vibration is 8 mm. The system suspension comprises 20 helical springs. Drive is provided through a 22-KW 1000-RPM electric motor.
